The Hospital Alemão Oswaldo Cruz in the Paraíso area of São Paulo  was founded in 1897 by a group of German speaking immigrants.  Today it has 239 general admission beds, 13 intensive care beds, 13 operating rooms, 23 day clinic beds, an emergency room and 3 minor surgery operating rooms and it has JCI accreditation.

Hospital Alemão (German Hospital) Oswaldo Cruz
HCor was created over 30 years ago in the Paraiso area of Sao Paulo to offer needy children the most advanced technology in the world in terms of cardiologic procedures.  It quickly became one of the main treatment centres for cardiovascular disease in Latin America and it now offers treatment to adults and children in 37 medical specialties.
